Golf
Pezula Championship Golf Course is one of 3 stunning courses in Knysna and is guaranteed to provide an unforgettable golfing experience. Golf games can be arranged directly with the clubhouse.
A game of 18 holes will take anywhere between 4 and 5 hours. Golf carts are compulsory on Pezula and will be provided by the golf club and included in the green fees. Pezula and Simola are very undulated, so players enjoy a feast of magnificent views of the ocean, Knysna River, Knysna lagoon and rolling forests.
Knysna Golf Club is an easy walking course situated on the lagoon with wonderful tidal water holes. Walker’s are allowed on the Pezula course before 7AM and after 7PM.
Whale Watching
Ocean Odyssey Tours offers the chance to experience close encounters, boat-based whale-watching tours and marine eco-tours with three daily departures and a fleet of ocean-going vessels. This is a wonderful core-memory experience for our local and international guests.
Knysna Elephant Park
The Knysna Elephant Park is just a 20-minute drive from Pezula Magic.
The park has rescued and raised over 40 elephants since it started and provides meaningful, educational encounters that let guests experience the gentle giants up close while promoting responsible wildlife interaction.
Spa Treatments
The Pezula Spa is just a minute's drive from our guest house. Treatments can be booked directly with the Spa. They are now offering a R1,000 Day Pass Special.
This includes:
• A complimentary welcome drink to ease into relaxation
• Optional morning yoga class (Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 09:00)
• A light and healthy breakfast or lunch (08:00 or 12:30)
• A 60-minute Signature Welcome Massage
• A calming 10-minute waterbed session
• Access to the Gym and Hot Zone, including a heated pool, sauna, steam room, and rainforest showers
• Lounging by the outdoor heated pool
• An optional one-hour scenic drive to Noetzie Beach (12:00 or 15:00)
Tennis
There are tennis courts, a jungle gym and a pool just a up the road from the house. Please be advised that guests will need to bring their own equipment and tennis balls. Swimming towels, an umbrella and a cooler box are available for pool and beach use.
Hiking
The Sparrebosch Fisherman’s Walk is a 5km hike that takes about an 1h30min. This moderately challenging route begins at the tennis courts and winds all the way down to Noetzie Beach. Hikers enjoy beautiful views, forest vegetation, bird and buck sightings. There is no fee or permit required.
